Sin City {Mommy & Daddy Style}

Well friends, this Midwesterner is blogging to you live from the big city of Las Vegas. Peter and I up and left our munchkins with my parents and have been living the high life here for a couple of days.  We've still got a couple more days left, and to say we're enjoying ourselves is a huge understatement.  This is Peter's second time here (lucky man got to have his bachelor party here), but my first trip.

Granted, we're not exactly doing the things most people (i.e. the Hangover Boys) do while in Sin City, but we are thoroughly enjoying the trip so far.  Number one on my list?  Well, number one might just be sleeping through the night and sleeping in as late as I'd like.  

I feel a bit like someone replaced my life with something quite a bit more luxurious and fabulous than I ever thought I'd experience.  We went to the spa at our hotel yesterday for a Valentine's Day couple's massage, and then I spent a few hours enjoying the spa amenities.  I've never felt so pampered or indulgent in my life. As I was enjoying my robe, the massage, the sauna, the amazing shower, the complimentary (fancy) makeup and hair products, the whirlpool, and everything else, I couldn't quite comprehend where I was or how the heck I got there.  I mean that in the best way possible.
