Kirsten's Winter Onederland Party!

The birthday girl and her snowflake cake.  She loved it.  Absolutely zero hesitation before digging in.

Our hot cocoa bar! I didn't get a shot of everything all set up, but it was a hit.  Everyone had lots and lots of hot cocoa.  For the mixings we had: marshmellow straws, whipped cream, French Vanilla Kahlua for the adults, chocolate sprinkles, mini marshmellows, chocolate filled cookie sticks, almond snowman cookies, biscotti, and probably other things I'm forgetting!

The dessert table.  My sister made these adorable snowflake cookies (bottom left) and we also made PW's chocolate cupcakes.  We made the snowflakes to go on the top with melted chocolate.  By we, I totally mean my sister made them.  Kirsten's smash cake was also the PW recipe.  It was delicious.  Please make some cupcakes or a sheet cake soon, you'll thank me when you do.

Our soup buffet.  No wonderful photos, but we did have four yummy types of soup.  I made Spicy Corn Chowder (I also added chicken), and had some help from family and they brought Creamy Wild Rice, Chili, and Cheesy Potato with Bacon.
